Building the quarry

The children have been thinking of ways to use the tyres in the outside area.  Over summer we were lucky enough to acquire a good amount of gravel and stones. So what better idea could there be than to make our own quarry!

We worked as a team to fill the tyres with large rocks and gravel to enhance small world play.

The children planted autumn heather and pansies to create some floral interest.  We also have some spring bulbs to plant after half term.
