Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Nursery and Reception Year: 2016 - 2017

We had such a great time down on the farm. We loved meeting Rosie the farmer and all her fabulous livestock. Who knew you could get a pig to sit to eat a banana!

We talked about what is involved in being a farmer in the colder months and what we can do to help wildlife survive these colder months. We had fun making a bug hotel and finding out about the different creatures that use the different levels and found out how to build a hedgehog house.

We are already looking forward to returning to the farm in the new year.
